The steaks and service are fantastic! Great place to eat while staying at the French lick resort. Gotta try the signature Bloody Mary. Out of this world!

We loved everything about our experience. We came here 2 years ago and found the service both times excellent. I'm surprised to hear the negative reviews on service, the staff was moving around promptly to all the guests we could see. My wife and I had the Wagyu steaks with scallops and lobster. The steaks were amazing, scallops and lobster all Melted in our mouths. For appetizers we had oysters and seared Mahi, also amazing. Our server Denzel was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

Questions & Answers

The most typical attire worn in 1875: The Steakhouse is business casual. We have a lot of golfers who visit as well so what you would expect to see on a golf course is also common. Thank you for inquiring and we hope to be able to serve you soon!

Rita, This is no Country Club, so feel free to wear something comfortable such as comfy pants, gym shoes or sweatshirt. There are photos online of a beautiful decor but they may seat you in the kitchen in which case--you may not want to wear anything good in case cooking grease or anything were to splatter on your good clothes. Hope this helps.
